Scholarship 101:  
Scholarships come from a number of sources.  Many come from the college you plan to attend or from the state of Utah such as the Regent's Scholarship, Utah Promise, New Century and the T.H. Bell Scholarship.  Others come from businesses, leadership organizations, employers, school districts and many more!  Seniors at Cottonwood have access to a a College Access Advisor that can help you begin your search.   Students in the 9th grade can even begin to apply for some scholarships.   
The good new is... there is a scholarship for you!    Check out our list of scholarships below, as well as popular scholarship search engines and college pages that are linked at the bottom of this page.  

Complete Scholarships is a free web tool designed and operated by the Utah Higher Education Assistance Authority (UHEAA) that helps Utah students find and apply for relevant state and local scholarships.

New legislation passed during the 2021 session created a simplified, statewide, achievement-based scholarship—the Opportunity Scholarship. The Opportunity Scholarship will be available to students beginning with the high school graduating class of 2022.

This scholarship is replacing the Regent's Scholarship.
